Good day, my friends and customers! Half the year is gone... how is that possible?! Can I just say... July can be a challenging month when you have a dog! Gruff and I spent more than a few evenings trying to camouflage the booming fireworks. One night wouldn't be so bad, but around here they seem to go on for a week! Thankfully, he's always happy to be wherever I am. We did get to "go to work"—that's what I call our trips to the shop these days. Gruff was so excited and hopped right into the car. Since it was a day we were closed, he seemed a little puzzled about where everyone was! I didn't really work, but it was wonderful to see all the beautiful new fabrics. The Christmas collections especially got my mind spinning with project ideas. So exciting! I've even been able to do a little sewing lately, which feels like a gift. Last week was a good week. This week brings another round of chemotherapy as I continue moving closer to a stem cell transplant. I'm hopeful that, after I recover, I'll be back to feeling like myself again. I can't tell you how much I miss seeing all of you. Thank you for your prayers, cards, kind words, and unwavering support. They have meant more than you know and have helped carry me through this journey. Hope to see you soon!

Our Service Provider resources page is a great place to start - because while we'd love to do it all ourselves, we know we can't! The people on this list are either professionals we've worked with personally or have been recommended by our customers. And if you've had a great experience with someone who isn't listed, we'd love to hear about them. CLASSES
We've added some wonderful new project classes to our calendar, and we think there's something here for just about everyone! Create a handy Sun Print Needle Book to keep your sewing essentials close at hand, or stitch up a beautiful Flower Bow to brighten your home. We're considering adding the Flower Bow class to the calendar, so if it's a project you'd enjoy, let us know! Looking for something wearable? Choose between a Reversible Bucket Hat or a Jellyroll Sun Visor—both are fun projects for sunny days. Our Upcycled Hoodie class filled quickly, but we've started a waitlist. If you'd like to be notified if we add another session, just let us know. And, of course, don't miss the cozy Charming Rag Quilt, a perfect project for showing off your favorite charm packs.
